Accident insurance is available for everyone in New Zealand, whether they are residents or visitors, and they are covered by the Accident and Rehabilitation Corporation. This legislation covers the majority of medical costs incurred in the event of an accident. However, clients are advised to have their own medical insurance in the event of an unexpected illness.
